Oak City Plate is a program founded and run by The Produce Project. Our mission with this project is to eliminate hunger, promote healthy eating habits, and provide nutritional education resources. We work within the community alongside partners and volunteers to help provide for our Raleigh neighbors in need.

MISSION STATEMENT

We have partnered with Meredith College Dietitian Program to host a dietetic intern. Nutritional Classes are being offered by Oak City Plate in partnership with these interns as well. Watch out for dates and information on our social media websites as well as our schedule. Class topics will include smart snacking, eating by color, picky eating solutions, and much more! Registration required as seats are limited.

Meal kits will be available on each Super Saturday which will occur once per month. On these Saturdays, we will offer a nutrition class and a meal kit will be given after attending class. Registration is required for each person attending as spaces are limited. Class links can be found on our schedule.

Each Friday we will offer Pay It Forward Fridays. On this day, our pantry is open for shopping for any items you and your family need. A $5 donation pays it forward to the community to help our continuing mission to help our local families.
